ITANAGAR, Oct 28: Chief Secretary Satya Gopal visited the Donyi-Polo Mission School for the Hearing & Visually Impaired today.
He was overwhelmed to see the students excelling in  academic and other co-curricular activities of skill development like computer education, weaving, painting, tailoring, embroidery, waste paper recycling etc.
He also interacted with the teachers, administrators and students of the school.
He lauded the school for its yeomen services, and assured to provide all possible help so that the hands of such organisations working for noble causes are encouraged and strengthened.
The Chief Secretary was accompanied by Commissioner (Power), Secretary (UD), Commissioner Tax, Excise and Narcotics, Spl Secy (Planning), Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex, Deputy Commissioner Lower Dibang Valley, Deputy Ccommissioner Longding and SP Capital Complex.
The main highlight of the visit was presentation of cultural programmes by the differently abled students.
