3rd Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav connects with youth
ITANAGAR, Oct 30: Chief Secretary Satya Gopal reviewed the progress and status of old projects under Non Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR), and North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS) during the State Level Executive Committee (SLEC) meeting held at Civil Secretariat here today. Ravindra Chaudhary, Director DoNER (Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region) was present during the meeting.
All the projects like High Altitude Sports Complex at Tawang, construction of Sports Complex at Jengging, establishment of VKV School at Changlang under NLCPR, augmentation of water supply at Boleng Township and augmentation of water supply to Pasighat Township from Sirpo source, water supply at JNV Roing, and construction of Road from Magopam to Bichom via Namfri, Ditching, Sacheda, Ramu Soto and Lichi Phase-II and all other infrastructure developments were reviewed.
Chief Secretary Gopal while reviewing the status of the projects asked the Chief Engineers not to deviate from the laid down guidelines and follow the rule of law in implementation and execution of the works.
Emphasizing on quality work and to avoid any kind of discrepancies, he directed the concerned executing departments to submit geo-tagged photographs, latest Quarterly Project Reports, Inspection Reports, Utilization Certificates, and copy of the Tender (s) floated in papers to the DoNER for early release of funds. All concerned Commissioners, Secretaries, and Chief Engineers were present in the meeting.
