ITANAGAR, Oct 31: In a review meeting on the preparedness of the 5th North East Connectivity Summit to be held in Tawang, Chief Secretary Satya Gopal has asked the Director FICCI, Bishwajit C to raise the bar in the ensuing summit which will be organised by Government of Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
He expressed some of his viewpoints for successful and fruitful conduct of the ensuing summit and hoped that there will be tangible results during and after the event. He told that participation from renowned Industrialists of India in the Tawang Summit will bring about the desired attention from all the interested and prospective investors in the country and abroad.
Arunachal Pradesh will host the 5th North East Connectivity Summit 2018 at Tawang from November 14-15 with the theme-Sustainable Tourism. The first NE Connectivity summit was held in Guwahati in 2014.
The CS wished to see maximum participation from various Department Heads from Government of India and representative from all North East States. He assured to provide all support and assistance for a fruitful and successful conduct of the summit.

The summit will witness participation from renowned, established, and start up and budding entrepreneurs. There will be participation from Bhutan, Thailand, Japan, South Korea; and influencers, Think tanks, and experts from India and abroad who will share their knowledge and experiences in the form of discussion and deliberation in the two day meet.
Commissioner Finance, Commissioner Industry, Secretary to CM and concerned department Secretaries and officers were present in the meeting.
