KHONSA, Jun 3: The 36 Bn of Central Reserve Police Force deployed at Khonsa celebrated its 51st Raising Day on June 1 last, commemorating the day when it was raised at Pfutsero, Nagaland in 1968 after merger with the 2nd PAC of Uttar Pradesh.
On the occasion, a mela was inaugurated by the Commandant of the battalion S.R. Behura, participated by the personnel of the unit, their families and civil authorities. Stalls with different types of delicious foods, games and cultural programme were the attractions.
