NAMSAI, Dec 28: Continuing with their noble endeavours, 186 Bn CRPF Namsai today donated a Smart Library to the Government Secondary School at Jaipur village in Namsai district as part of their Civic Action Programme.
DIG (Ops) DBR-CRPF, VS Sharma who attended the event as Chief Guest inaugurated the mini Smart Library in presence of Commandant -186 Bn-Namsai Rajiv Kumar, SP Ankit Kumar Singh, Headmaster MK Pande and President Adi Bane Kebang (Namsai Unit) Bolen Ratan.
Sharma lauded the 186 Bn CRPF for their contribution to the education sector. “Such Smart Libraries help the children to get the necessary information for their studies as well as current affairs,” he stated and also appealed the students to maintain the decorum of the library and use it properly.
President ABK(Namsai Unit) who is also the Chairman of the School Management Committee extended gratitude to 186Gn CRPF for contributing to the school. “We are very much thankful to the CRPF for contributing to society on different occasions under their Civic Action Programme and hope that such cordial relationship with villagers and men in uniform will be maintained in the days to come,” he added.
The library has a computer set, journals, books, well-furnished furniture and other necessary educational items.
Among others, Deputy Commandant-186 Bn CRPF- PK Atal, Assistant Commandant Pawan Kumar Trigunyat, Assistant Commandant Anil Khatri, CRPF jawans, PRI leaders, public and students participated in the event.
