KHONSA, Jan 13: With the aim of strengthening relationship between security forces and local people, the AOR 36 Bn CRPF on Monday distributed a bouquet of sports items to the students of Government Middle School Bera in Tupi Village in Tirap district as a part of its Civic Action Programme.
The variety of sports items included badminton rackets, nets, shuttle cocks, volleyballs, chess, ludo & carrom boards, skipping ropes and flying discs. Besides fostering civil-paramilitary bonhomie, this gesture is also aimed at enhancing physical stamina and flexibility of the students, developing team spirit and coordination among them and also creating knack in sports. Behura, Second-in-Command Kamlesh Kumar, SDPO Deomali Topha Wangsu, Principal Government Middle School Bera Vichang Nokbi, Principal Government Middle School Old Tupi Ranmok Rangyang, Chairman School Managing Committee Old Tupi Yasum Teyang, Chairman School Managing Committee Bera Wangnam Hakhun were among others who were present on the occasion.
