KHONSA, Jan 29: With the aim of providing an alternative source of electricity to the native ethnic inhabitants of Senua-Noksa, a distant village of the Tirap district, 36 Bn of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today distributed solar lights to the poor and needy villagers under Civic Action programme.
Acute shortage of electricity supply is a major problem the villagers specially the students face , hampering their studies. CRPF chose this village for their Civic Action programme and distributed LED solar lamps to the needy people which visibly brought smiles to their faces.
S.R Behura, Commandant of the Battalion and other dignitaries were present. The villagers thanked the Commandant and appreciated CRPF for their work and presence in the area. DIPRO
