ITANAGAR, Jul 9: Consumer Rights Organization- Arunachal Pradesh, state unit (CRO-AP) led by its President Achu Bagang  called on MoS Home Kiren Rijiju in his office in New Delhi on Monday and apprised  him  of various issues related to the  state, according to a press release received here today.

During the meeting, CRO-AP discussed on issues like consumer rights, railway staff recruitment from the state, permanent director for the NIT , Vice Chancellor of the Rajiv Gandhi University and release of  stipends to  the students  .

‘The tenure of the present Vice Chancellor will  be over soon and we have requested the MoS to look into the matter as soon as possible for the betterment of the students and the swift functioning  of the institution. Moreover, the state is now connected with railways and more are coming soon, so there should be adequate recruitment of local people in Railway Protection Force (RPF) , stated the release .
