BORDUMSA, Mar 26: With the intention of tiding over the current crisis period due to the Covid-19 pandemic, MLA 49 Bordums-Diyun Assembly Constituency Somlong Mossang has donated rice and other essential commodities for the people who are at currently under quarantine.
The MLA also doled out financial assistance to overcome any such issue which might arise in procurement of medicine or other services. The amount and other distributed items would be monitored by the EAC Diyun for Diyun Circle and the ADC Bordumsa for Bordumsa Circle respectively.
Speaking to the reporters, Mossang informed that more than 250 citizens of Bordumsa-Diyun have returned home from different states and are under observation and self-quarantine and the administration has arranged more than 20 isolation camps for them. He further appealed the people not to panic as the administration and the medical department are working hard to tackle the situation and he himself is monitoring the entire situation of his constituency. Mossang also expressed gratitude to the entire team working day and night to fight against the pandemic.
Meanwhile, a senior public leader of Bordumsa C.S. Mirip has extended vehicle facilities for the common people for medical requirements.
