Itanagar, May 17: Counting Supervisors and Assistants underwent vote counting training today in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Himanshu Gupta.
Briefing on the important role the Counting Supervisors/ Assistants and Attendants are going to play on the counting day, DC asked them to ensure transparency during counting.
He reminded that counting is the culmination of a two-month long process and every official should give their best efforts for a successful end of the election process.
CO Itanagar Likha Radh briefed in detail about the role of Counting Supervisors and Assistants.
Master Trainer J Tiwari presented a PowerPoint Presentation on casting of votes. Videos were also shown on the whole counting process.
Among others, EAC Naharlagun Rinchin Leta and EAC(Election) Choiki Dondup also attended the meeting. DIPRO
