Itanagar, Apr 13: The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal (CoSAAP) on behalf of employees has urged to release the order of enhanced 4% DA/DR w.e.f. 01.07.2024 payable in cash within April, 2024.
The body also sought Immediate release of salary fund so that employees get their pay as they are going to far-flung areas for election duties. Payment of sufficient amount as advance TA/DA to the employees engaged in election duties. Providing of full proof security personnel to the polling teams and others engaged in election duties, are also the demands.
CoSAAP also urged the Chief Election Officer of the state to ensure free and fair election in the state. It should be ensured that no CoSAAP member(s) engaged in election duties is harassed/tortured without their fault. CoSAAP will not tolerate any harm (physically/mentally) inflicted towards the employees during the ensuing Parliamentary and Assembly Elections, it said in a statement on Saturday.
