ITANAGAR, May 6:The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) in its central executive committee  (CEC) meeting held on Friday has extended gratitude to the state government led by Pema Khandu, for approval of criteria for entry into APCS (EG) through Lateral Entry System as per the demands of employees and recommendation of High Power Committee. It was the demand of the CoSAAP to allow the APPSC to conduct written interview for at least three papers for entry into APCS (EG) through Lateral Entry System.

However, it said that repeated denial of other genuine and legitimate demands of employees has disheartened the entire employee’s fraternity. The demands like implementation of Fundamental Rules-56 pertaining to retirement age at 60 years, Modification/Simplification of NOC system as per suggestion and advice of Chief Secretary, All India LTC Rule, Medical Attendance Rule and 5. Children Education & Transport Allowances as per 6th CPC are still pending with the state Govt since many years, the association said.

Therefore, CoSAAP has decided to serve an ultimatum to the state government to immediately redress all issues or it will resume its democratic movement which is under suspension after repeated appeal by the government.

Further, a mass rally and meeting of employees in the state capital on May 27 next is also scheduled.
