ITANAGAR, Dec 5: The All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) has urged the state government for immediate release of LOC which is demanded by various working departments.
State government is talking about quality works and time bound completion of the project but they have failed to release the funds on a timely manner. It is learnt that since August 2019 and till date no single penny has been released to all working departments due to which most of the contractors are facing financial crunch which is affecting progress of work. State government should release the funds against each project as per progress report as executing agencies submit report to them in the form of geo-tagging, it said in a release.
AACWA further questioned the Deputy Chief Minister’s office for denying them appointment to discuss the matter and said that they will be compelled to seek justice if LOC authorization is not released within December.
