ITANAGAR, May 8: Chief Minister of Meghalaya and National President of National People’s Party, Conrad K Sangma, along with other dignitaries will be visiting the Arunachal capital on May 10 to have an interaction with party leaders and candidates who have contested in the simultaneous elections on NPP ticket.
This was revealed through a press release issued today by the party. Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur Joy Kumar Singh, Home Minister of Meghalaya James Sangma, MLAs from Meghalaya, Wailad Shylla & Rupert Momin, Co-Chairman, Meghalaya State Planning Board B.S Sangma and other dignitaries will be accompanying Sangma.
State President NPP, Arunachal Pradesh Gicho Kabak has directed all the MLA & MP contestants, state office bearers and frontal heads of the party to attend the interaction programme on May 10 here in Ashoka Hotel. Sangma will also meet the press at 6.30 pm on the same day.
It may be recalled that NPP, which is an integral NDA alliance partner in governments of various Northeast States under the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) has put up one MP candidate in 1-Arunachal Western Parliamentary Constituency and thirty MLA candidates in assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh.
