ITANAGAR, Jun 28:Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Prince Dhawan today inaugurated community toilets at six wards.

The amenities are located near DTO Office ( Yupia Trijunction), Barapani Market, Polo Park, G Sector- Near Auditorium, A Sector-near VV Giri Gate and Bage Tinali.

Handing over the amenities to the respective self help groups for its upkeep and maintenance, the DC directed the concerned SHG to ensure that the toilets are properly maintained. He stressed that the toilets have been constructed for the convenience of the public and appealed the public to use the facility responsibly.

The DC further informed that for effective functioning of the community toilet, mandatory display of phone numbers of the SHG executive members have to be displayed on the board for any complaints.
