CHANGLANG, Mar 4: MLA, Changlang North assembly constituency Tesam Pongte inaugurated a newly constructed community hall at Longran village, in presence of Changlang ADC T Jerang, HoDs and general public.
Dedicating the community hall, executed by DRDA Changlang under SIDF, Pongte suggested the villagers to make multipurpose use of it with proper care.
Responding to a memorandum submitted by the villagers for providing drinking water in the village, the MLA said that the scheme is already under the process of sanctioning and soon the problem of drinking water in the village will be over. Regarding shortage of teachers, he said that in the next session two more teachers will be posted in Longran UP school. Problem of repairing of electric lines and transformers will also be taken up soon, he assured.
The HoDs of Changlang spoke on the various schemes operating through their departments and those provided by the state and central governments. DIPRO
