Ziro, Mar 4: Upgraded Library Management System at Saint Claret College (SCCZ) was commissioned today by MLA of Ziro Tage Taki.
The college has introduced Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) system in its library and shifted from closed access to open access system. Introducing the system, principal Dr. Fr. Allwyn Mendoz mentioned that this would reduce the transaction time for issue and return of books to a few minutes and would also lead to an increase in the usage of the library. The user friendly system has been implemented through generous contribution of Tage Taki through the MLA LAD Scheme and Rev. Fr. Jijo K.P from Claretian Publications, Macau, who was also the former vice principal of the college.
