Seppa, Aug 19: District Level Executive Committee meeting to review the physical and financial achievements of schemes and for preparing the Annual Action Plan 2019-20 under Chief Minister’s Samast Shiksha Yojana (CMSSY) was convened today here under the chairmanship of East Kameng DC Gaurav Singh Rajawat.
Enquiring about the progress of all works undertaken under CMSSY, DC directed the Education Department to complete all pending works as per DPR latest by September 15 next and submit Utilization Certificates of all works undertaken as of date regularly. Stressing on the quality of works, he suggested for stage-wise geo-tagging of all works from commencement to completion. To avoid duplicity of works, obtaining of non-duplicity certificate from the concerned authority before conceptualization of any proposal was also suggested by DC. He also stressed on incorporating the requirements of furniture and boards for additional classrooms and electrification and water supply connectivity during the preparation of DPR.
Inviting suggestions from the house to improve the quality of education in the district, DC enquired about the installation of CCTVs and biometric attendance system in schools and urged all stakeholders to cooperate and coordinate for better result. He also exhorted the teaching fraternity for timely completion of syllabus as prescribed for every subject. The house unanimously accepted and finalized the proposals to be undertaken in the current financial year under CMSSY.
PD (DRDA) Dahey Sangno and DDSE Kata Rangmo briefed about the status of works undertaken in the district under CMSSY since 2018. ADC Marpe Riba and all DLEC members present also took participation in the discussion. DIPRO
