TAWANG, Feb 16: Chief Minister Pema Khandu today declared open the 3-day Sadbhavna Diwas - a celebration of civil army friendship here at Jang along with MoS Home Kiren Rijiju, MLA Tsering Tashi, MLA Jambey Tashi, MLA Phurpa Tsering and army brigade commanders. 
Chief Minister on the occasion also launched the Arunachal Rising campaign. He gave away commendation certificates and cash Award to best ASHA and Angadwadi workers. 

 He also distributed radio sets to 50 Angandwadi workers of the Jang Sub-Division. On the occasion, CM also distributed land compensation to beneficiaries from Khet village. 
The keynote address of the Sadbhavna Diwas was delivered by Brigadier Rajesh Sethi, Commander of 40 Mountain Brigade. 
Khandu later gave away letter of appreciation to local army commanders and soldiers of the Indian Army for their contribution in building civil army friendship. 
Chief Minister in his speech highlighted on the importance of civil army cooperation. He also spoke on the progress of the Arunachal Rising campaign being carried across the state. 
Following the speech, Kiren Rijiju flagged off an expedition team of students organised by the Indian Army. CMO
