TAWANG, Nov 13: Chief Minister Pema Khandu today attended the consecration and inauguration of the newly constructed Zangdok Palri Gompa at Dudungkhar in Tawang district by Padmashree awardee the 14th Thegtse Rinpoche.
Zangdok Palri - the glorious copper coloured mountain is the pure land of Guru Rinpoche who brought Buddhism to Tibet.
Chief Minister was accompanied by Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao, MLA Tsering Tashi, MLA Phurpa Tsering, MLA Jambey Tashi, Chairman DOKAA Jambey Wangdi and other dignitaries.
Following the consecration of Zangdok Palri Gompa a public meeting was held at CO headquarters in Dudungkhar.
Earlier Chief Minister offered prayers at Lumla Dolma Lhakhang where a huge statue of Jetsun Dolma with prayer hall underneath is constructed. CMO
