ITANAGAR, Sep 21:Chief General Manager of SBI Sunil Kumar Tandon called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu today here along with his officials.
The officials present had discussion with the Chief Minister on coordination and support of the bank in successful implementation of state and central flagships programmes in the state.
The Chief Minister during the meeting requested the bank for active participation in implementation of CM Bunkar Yojana and Swavalamban Yojana. The bank assured to come back with MoU for Deen Dayal Swavalamban Yojana in month's time. He also called for increasing beneficiaries under PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana.
He further discussed on setting customer service points in unbanked blocks and to make it more efficient wherever its established.
The Chief Minister also requested the SBI to recruit more number of indigenous youths in the bank so that that the unemployed will have jobs opportunities. He requested them to conduct clerical staff recruitment exams in Itanagar.
Others present on the occasion were Kaling Tayeng, IAS, Finance Commissioner, Y.W Ringu, Secretary, Finance and Dr. Gyanendra Mani, GM, NABARD.
