ITANAGAR, Aug 14: Ahead of Independence Day, denizens from different parts of the capital region organized cleanliness drive today.
Hundreds of local residents of Lower E Sector Forest Colony under the banner of Lower E Sector Forest Colony Welfare Committee led by its President Khyoda Tatung, General Secretary Bamang Tatup cleared bushes and litter from National Highway-415 to Dorjee Khandu Convention Centre.
A similar drive was also organized by Naharlagun D Sector Youth welfare committee and A-Sector Youth Welfare Association. The Nirjuli Market Welfare committee under the leadership of Arunachal Chamber of commerce and Industries (ACCI)President Tarh Nachung cleaned the roadside of the Nirjuli market and its adjoining areas.
