Local MLA Mama Natung, who was also part of the campaign, called upon villagers and students of Pakoti to organise such cleanliness drives at least thrice a month to make it the “cleanest administrative headquarters”. He assured rewards if such drives are held.
The campaign was coordinated by Pakoti circle officer Laxmi Dodum who informed the people that a ‘Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar’ programme will be conducted in the last part of September and requested villagers to avail the benefits on offer.
Logistical arrangements for the campaign were done by the Seppa PHED team led by executive engineer Bharat Sonam.
