Itanagar, Jan 16: A blood donation camp was organized on Thursday by the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service aspirants, supported by Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donors Organization (AVBDO) in collaboration with the State Blood Transfusion Council.
SP Papum Pare Jimmy Chiram was the Chief Guest, along with Arunachal Civil Society Chairman Patey Tayum and Superintendent Engineer Hage Mobing as Guests of Honour. Chairman, AVBDO Ramesh Jeke informed that out of 140 participants, 100 donated blood and urged more youths to conduct such camps in future.
A member of the organizing committee Kesto Loriak said the camp was a small gesture through which the APCS aspirants could serve society. Another organizing member Meshap Lapung said that it’s not always necessary for a person to be in government service to serve society.
