ITANAGAR, Jun 24: Ahead of the Annual State Budget 2019 likely to be placed in the maiden session of the Assembly in July, the ruling state government led by Pema Khandu has opened doors for suggestions from the citizens for incorporating them in the final draft.
According to a press release issued today by the CMO, the step is in continuity with the tradition of the previous years and intended to make the budget preparation process an all-inclusive and participatory affair by giving space to the best holistic suggestions from the citizens of the state. “The upcoming Arunachal State Budget 2019 preparation exercise has started and like each year, we solicit your valuable suggestions and inputs,” the CM said in his appeal to the people. Assuring that all good suggestions which are in public interest will form a part of the budget document, Khandu reiterated that this year’s budget will serve as a road map for the state to pursue for the next five years.
All community based organizations, NGOs, intellectuals, senior citizens, women activists, academicians, students and youths are the members of ‘Team Arunachal’ and are welcome to participate in the budget preparation process by putting forward their views and suggestions by logging on to www.arunachalbudget.in, CM said in his message.
