PASIGHAT, Nov 20: To facilitate and promote Chess and its players in various districts of Siang valley like East Siang, Siang, Upper Siang, Lower Siang etc, a United Siang Chess Association (USCA) was formed on Monday under the Chairmanship of Gagam Ering, one of the senior most chess players.  
A general meeting all chess players of Siang valley districts was held at the conference hall of Siang Guest house here on Monday under the Chairmanship of Gagam Ering. During the meeting, Neeraj Tamuk was selected as President, Tameng Noram as General Secretary and Gagam Ering as Chairman of the USCA who will take forward the functioning and promotion of chess in the region.
Both Neeraj Tamuk and Tameng Noram said that, the USCA will be affiliated under Arunachal Pradesh Chess Association (APCA) which in turn is affiliated with All India Chess Federation (AICF).
