ITANAGAR, Oct 25: Chakat Aboh, who has won the 56-Khonsa West Assembly Constituency by-election as an Independent candidate today called on the Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly, Pasang Dorjee Sona here at his office chamber.
Sona congratulated Aboh and extended his best wishes for her future endeavours. She will be administered oath of office and secrecy by the Speaker at the Assembly on Monday, 28th of October. The by-election was conducted following the assassination of the sitting MLA Late Tirong Aboh, Chakat’s husband who won the seat in Assembly Election 2019 as a National People’s Party candidate.
