NAMSAI, Apr 28:

A certification programme for Electoral Registration Officer and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, DLMT and data entry operator of Eastern Arunachal was conducted at Namsai today. The training was aimed at familiarizing ERO/AEROs on various aspects of E-Roll, operation of ERO net, BLO net and improving efficiency in dealing with electoral roll revision. The Chief Electoral Officer Kaling Tayeng, IAS while addressing the participants emphasized on continuous updating skills in various portals of Election Commission of India. The training was imparted by National Level Master Trainer DC RK Sharma and S. Maity, State Level Master Trainer. The Election Commission of India has introduced ELC programme for educating upcoming & new electors about electoral registration and ethical voting through conducting extracurricular activities in educational institutions and “Chunav Pathsala.
