PASIGHAT, May 13: A certification programme and cascaded training for Electoral Registration Officers (ERO) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AERO) under District Electoral Officer, Pasighat was held at Siang Guest House on Friday.

The training was aimed at familiarizing the EROs and AEROs with various aspects of the electoral roll; operation of the ERO net and the BLO net; and improving efficiency in dealing with electoral roll revision.
Distributions of ERONET manual and legal provisions etc were also made available to the EROs and AEROs.

While speaking to the EROs and AEROs, DC cum DEO Pasighat, Tamiyo Tatak suggested and batted for free and fair enrolment of electoral rolls without any favour and fear to any individual or political party. No personal enmity and grudges with any individual or political party or leader should be mixed while in the duty of electoral roll registration, Tatak added as any success of proper election and democracy lies upon these EROs and AEROs.
