ITANAGAR, Nov 15: The 21 Koloriang Assembly Constituency Native People’s Forum and Illegal Voter Enrollment Clean Drive Committee, 21 Koloriang Assembly Constituency has urged the Chief Electoral Officer to strictly prohibit the enrollment of non-indigenous people in the electoral roll in Koloriang Assembly Constituency.
In this connection a meeting was conducted here today, wherein both the organizations resolved to fight together for the cause. It also urged the genuine voters to produce authentic voter deletion certificate issued by concerned EROs or AEROs in case of transfer of voters during the hearing.
“Production of fake deletion certificates will be viewed seriously and such act of duplicity will invite legal action,” it warned.
