Governor chairs high-level security review meeting
CHARDUAR, Apr 1: Parliamentary Secretary PHE, Water Supply, Economic & Statistic today appealed the central government for a recruitment centre in the state for all para military forces.
Sidisow was addressing the golden jubilee celebration of CRPF 30 Battalion here at the Battalion headquarters as chief guest. He said that many states have separate recruitment centre where the locals and indigenous educated youths are benefited and since Arunachal Pradesh being a border and sensitive state needs such facility.
He said that all Para military and central forces need to have such recruitment centres in the state so that the youths of Arunachal and adjoining areas are benefited and do not have to travel long distance where money and other problems are faced.
He appealed Chief Minister Pema Khandu to pursue the matter with Union Minister of State for Home, Kiren Rijiju who is also Member of Parliament from Arunachal and can better understand the need for the same.
Sidisow lauded the role of CRPF in maintaining security and their contribution to society in general through various activities.
30 Bn Commandant Janardan Upadhyay in his address appealed the personnel and general public to have better understanding.
Itanagar based 138 Bn Commandant Paras Nath, West Kameng Deputy Superintendent of Police Gotombo Dajangju, Aka Elite Society Spokesperson Seriff Nimasow and several HODs of the Bhalukpong township and PRI members from both state of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh among large numbers of general public were present on the occasion.
