TAWANG, Mar 12: District Level Monitoring Committee(DLMC) meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Tawang Sang Phuntsok  was held today in the Conference Hall of DC Tawang.
The main objective of the meeting was to review the status of the various centrally sponsored projects like NEC, NLCPR, DoNER, RIDF, CRF, BADP, MPLADS etc and state funded schemes like SADA, SIDF, MLALAD, untied funds and other departmental projects and programmes.
Various flagship programmes of government of India and state government such as MGREGS, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana(Rural), PMAY(Urban),Swachh Bharat Mission(Urban), Ujjwala(PMUY), Ujjala, rural electrification (Saubhagya), Indira Gandhi Old Age Pension/Disability Pension Scheme, PMMVY, national social assistance programme and Mission Indradhanush were reviewed. The progress of state flagship programmes i.e CMSSY, Mukhya Mantri Rogi Kalyan Kosh, Health and Wellness Centre were also reviewed in the meeting.
Status of state’s own resource and revenue generated by the various revenue heads of tax & excise, power(electrical), water charges, state transport service, geology & mining, arms license, land revenue, tax on motor vehicles, stamps and registration, OAS, tourism, industries and textile & handicraft sales were also reviewed.
The issue of pending utilization certificate under BADP from various executing agencies, status of geo-tagging of projects and action taken reports on observation of the third party monitors on BADP were also taken up and reviewed in the meeting.
All the head of the departments  participated and gave presentations on the progress and achievements of their respective division and department. DIPRO
