Aalo, Apr 8: The Central Observers appointed to oversee election process in West Siang district conducted an elaborate meeting with the Micro Observers and Magistrates on various issues for ensuring free and fair simultaneous elections at the Conference Hall of DC office today.
The Micro Observers representing various central government offices serving in three districts have been asked to assist the Central Observers in different polling booths and report any incident of poll violation without fear and favour. The Sector Magistrates have also been asked to keep close vigil on law and order situations.
The officials engaged in election duties in Likabali, Basar, Liromoba, Aalo West and East ACs and PCs have also exercised their franchises through postal ballots from April 6 to 8. Presiding and Polling Officers are also undergoing batch wise intensive training which have commenced today and will continue till April 10. DIPRO
