NAHARLAGUN, Apr 13:

Centenarian Tarh Hipik passed away in presence of his children at Tomo
Riba State Hospital here around 30 minutes passed Tuesday mid-night.
He is survived by two wives, seven sons, including noted entrepreneur
Tarh Nachung, two daughters and numerous grand children.
As the family prepared to leave Naharlagun with mortal remains for his
native village Gaaga, near Nyapin in Kurung Kumey district for last
rites on Friday, hordes of relatives, nears and dears made a beeline
to pay their last respects to the departed soul.
With his death the state, particularly the Tarh clan, has  lost a
great legendary pathfinder who served the society with a helpful
attitude throughout his life. His contributions will be remembered
always, particularly by younger generations, Tarh Welfare Society
(TWS) general secretary Tarh Tarak said in a release.
Arunachal Chamber of Commerce & Industries (ACCI) president Techi
Lala, Nirjuli BWC members also joined the mourners.
