PASIGHAT, May 27: The Covid-19 Control Room (CCR) set up here at the DC’s office was inspected by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Hq) Tatdo Borang on Tuesday last.
After discussing the details of its functioning with the officers and staff and going through the complaint/enquiry register, ADC said that administration is keeping an eye on the pandemic and proactive measures are being taken to keep East Siang district safe. While asking the staff manning the CCR to provide all kinds of information/assistance to the people as and when required, he informed that the DA headed by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kinny Singh is keeping a track of the samples that are being sent for testing to the ICMR.
All reports have come negative till date and inter-state border has been sealed. However, returnees are being screened at Ruksin check gate and sent to zone wise (Red, Orange and Green) quarantines directly with police escorts. SOPs are being maintained strictly at all levels and after swab test, quarantined persons are kept separated to make sure they do not come in contact with those awaiting test results. Facility and paid quarantine centres have been equipped with adequate provisions of masks, sanitizers, water, soap and other toiletries and quality food prepared centrally at mid-day meal kitchen are being provided to the quarantined persons. As a part of the protocol, after confirmation of Covid-19 negative, all discharged persons are being send for a further 14-day home quarantine.
Meanwhile, DC through a public notice has informed that flight services at Pasighat airport is going to resume from May 28 onwards and incoming flights will land at the airport on 9.30 am. DIPRO
