ITANAGAR, May 3: CBSE had already announced the result of All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (AISSCE) Class-XII on May 2 last. Although the All India pass percentage is 83.9, when it comes to Arunachal Pradesh it’s more gloomier than last year.
The pass percentage has decreased to 41. 96 as compared to previous year’s 44.33. As per the report from Director of Secondary Education, 12,046 students appeared for the class XII examination from different schools of the state, but only 5055 students cleared the examination. 4586 failed, 2405 got compartment and 378 didn’t appeared for the examination.
District-wise pass percentages are: West Kameng -42.93, East Kameng- 28.67, Kurung Kumey- 43.68, Kra Daadi- 39.37,Lower Subansiri -38.40, Kamle- 34.52, Upper Subansiri- 52.37, Papum Pare- 29.85, Upper Siang- 55.62, Siang- 66.40, East Siang- 59.54, West Siang- 34.48, Lower Siang- 49.08, Namsai-43.96, Lohit- 29.28, Dibang Valley- 26.09, Lower Dibang Valley- 62.34, Anjaw- 30.36, Longding - 25.47, Changlang- 36.84, Tirap-53.62 and Capital Complex- 34.94.
