PASIGHAT, June 28: In a letter to Dy. Commissioner, East Siang on Tuesday last, the Oyan Baane Kebang has appealed the district administration to initiate steps for early resumption of re-carpeting work of PWD link road from Oyan-Chariali to Kemi check gate which was halted following complaint from LBSJ Forum.

In the letter, the OBK stated that, the link road in question was commissioned 53 years ago which was lying dilapidated and unrepaired all these years. “The said road is now being renovated under the positive initiative of present 37^th Pasighat West MLA cum Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture & Fisheries, Er. Tatung Jamoh sanctioned under SADA scheme. But the unnecessary disturbances created by few individuals under the banner of LBSJ Forum is harassing the people of Oyan locality.
