ITANAGAR, Jun 7: All Yachuli Students Union (AYSU) has appealed the Commissioner cum Fact Finding Committee Trans Arunachal Highway Potin to Joram for CBI enquiry into the gross misappropriation of fund against land compensation amounting to Rs 188 Crore.
While serving five days ultimatum to the government, the Union has threatened to call 24 hour bandh on June 13 next at Ziro-II Area, Lower Subansiri district.
Addressing a press conference, President AYSU alleged that the amount sanctioned for land compensation from Potin to Bopi were mismanaged by the then Deputy Commissioner, Lower Subansiri and his official team.
AYSU is also seeking immediate arrest of Branch Manager, Central Bank of India, Ziro for defying government order and releasing crores of money against few people. Further, the union has also sought immediate physical site verification backed by investigation regarding the huge disbursement of compensation to various people on ‘pick and choose’ policy.
