NIRJULI, Sep 23: In a move to encourage youths to take competitive examinations, MLA Yachuli, Likha Saaya provided cash award of Rs 50,000 to 42 aspirants native of 16th Yachuli Constituency who qualified in the recent APPSCCE preliminary examination. The cash award was handed over to the aspirants during a career counseling cum guidance programme held at Nirjuli on Saturday.
Joint Commissioner of Police, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, Robin Hibu, Deputy Commissioner Papumpare, Joram Beda, Under Secretary, APCS (GoAP)Likha Tejji and Dr Mukesh Jaitley (Dentist), New Delhi attended the event as resource persons.
Addressing the gathering, Saaya assured the aspirants that financial support will be doubled if they clear Mains examination too.
