Book on Traditional Festivals of Arunachal Pradesh released
NAMSAI, Dec 3: In an objective to encourage and motivate students, Career counselling cum Guidance programme being organized by Adi Students Union (Apex) was held at Gidii Notko Samuguri village under Namsai district.
Attending the event as resource person, Extra Assistant Commissioner-Namsai, AJ Lungphi said ‘this age is a competitive one and so the students must have career ambitions starting from primary level.’ He also urged the students to maintain discipline and determination in academic career.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Superintendent of Police Namsai, Sepraj Perme shared his experience of clearing the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission examination. “I had also started my academic career from government schools but my determination and ambition to become an officer led me to this position,” he said.
Among others, Director Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) Sanjay Rishishwar, Professor Government Polytechnic College-Namsai, Christina Gammeng and 2nd In command-186Bn CRPF-Namsai Amit Mishra also spoke on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Organizing Secretary cum Secretary Education-AdiSU, Job Jamoh informed that counselling and career guidance program is being organized in the entire Adi inhabited district to motivate the students. The next programme it scheduled to be held at Pasighat.
