ITANAGAR, Apr 7:

 

The Capping ceremony of the 31st batch of students of the Ramakrishna Mission Hospital School of Nursing was held on Friday at the Vivekananda Hall, Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar.

 

The program was presided over by Revered Swami Sarvaganandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Lumdung, East Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh. The ceremony was graced by the Smt. Aini Taloh, Founder Head of “AYANG” (A voluntary Blood Donation Organization), Arunachal Pradesh as the Chief Guest.

 

A total of 19 girls received their caps on the occasion from the Principal and Vice Principal of the School. The new entrants who received the caps also took the Service vows in Sanskrit and the Nightingale pledge on this auspicious occasion. The top three rank holders of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students were awarded prizes by Taloh. Smt. Aini Taloh and Revered Swami Sarvaganandaji Maharaj addressed and enlightened the audience with their purposeful speeches.

 

The function was followed by a colourful cultural program, which was presented by the students of the School of Nursing.
