ITANAGAR, Feb 15: Continuing its effort to eradicate drug menace in the capital region, Capital police arrested a drug peddler and recovered various types of drugs, syringes including cash from his procession on Friday last.
Acting on a tip-off, team of police rushed to a city-based hotel at Ganga and found one N Tabing, a habitual drug peddler in a room in suspicious condition,' stated Tumme Amo, Superintendent of Police Capital Complex.
During the search contraband substances like brown powder (5.67 gms ) suspected saled proceed of Rs 49000 in cash, 117 empty plastic vials, 4 nos used syringes, Nitrosun 10 mg 39 tablets were recovered from the room, added the SP.
A case vide- ITA/ PS C/No46/2020 U/S- 21(b) NDPS act has been registered and the case is under investigation.
