ITANAGAR, Aug 25: The Capital police has arrested one person in connection with a robbery at a bakery shop situated opposite the Civil Secretariat recently.
The police have registered a Case No 220/19 U/S 447/392 IPC on the basis of FIR lodged by the proprietor of the Bakery.
As per the description given by the victim and the lone witness, a team of Police led by ASI A.K Jha as investigation officer under the supervision of SP Capital Tumme Amo arrested one Bake Takar after much investigation and interrogation on Saturday last.
The victim and the witness have also identified him saying his identity is exactly like what they saw, The accused Bake Takar was involved in similar cases earlier, like Ziro PS case no 16/05 us 448/394 IPC, informed SP.
Further, the Capital Police has forwarded the accused to a hospital and later produced before the Court which has remanded him to 13 days Judicial Custody.
On August 16 last, at around 8 pm some unknown miscreant had entered into best bakers shop located nearby the Secretariat and had looted all the cash available in the cash drawer by threatening and putting machete on one of her sales boy.
