ITANAGAR, Apr 1: Ahead of the 2019 elections to strengthen public confidence in policing, the capital Police department held a massive flag march in Itanagar.
More than 200 police personnel led by Superintendent of Police, T Amo participated in the rally which started from DKC Hall, Itanagar and concluded at Chimpu ME School, Chimpu.
Interacting with reporters, city SP, Amo said that
“This was done to boost the confidence level of voters, so that they can come out and cast their franchise without any fear”.
Earlier, a general briefing of police officers and men deployed for sector/polling station duties was also held at DKC Hall by the SP Capital.
