Itanagar, Jan 7: Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Komkar Dulom today directed the executing agency and highway engineers to fill up the potholes within a week latest by January 15.
Dulom was addressing the 1st interaction and coordination meeting with the officials of TK Engineering Consortium Pvt ltd, Highway engineers, authority engineers, traffic police officers and others at DC office today. DC said that all line departments have been extending all possible help and support to the Highway authority and executing agency and capital administration for executing the four lane work properly with quality.
Showing his serious concern on the work progress, Dulom said that time is money and we should not waste precious time and energy, but we should devote our full energy- man and machines for proper implementation of the work and better output. 
There has been several complaints from the public and also seen in social media that the road is dusty during sunny weather which need to be taken care of by the agency, he said and directed the agency to sprinkle water on the dusty stretches of under construction four lane road. 
Referring to the recent inspection of Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and team of top officials of various line departments,  Dulom said that we should not neglect the sentiments of the common public and requirement of good road atleast in the township area specially from Chandanagar to Rajbhawan and directed to clear the road latest in next two month. 
He suggested the Highway engineers and authority engineers to take help and support at any point of time whenever is required to fast track the work on war footing. 
He also requested the officers of Highway department to see and check that signboard, caution sign, and alert signals are erected and put near the construction site so that untoward accident doesn't take place during the construction period. 
He urged upon all officials and official present to devote more energy and utilize the presence of mind during the construction of the four lane road from Chandanagar to Papu nallah to reduce maximum inconveniences to the general public and commuters as well as pedestrians.  
Further he also requested the traffic authority to lay a plan with the highway authority and executing agency so that necessary traffic diversion is made for proper traffic regulation in the capital.
Traffic SP Irak Bagra, ADC Itanagar Tolom Dupok, Highway Executive Engineer Nan That, EAC  Naharlagun EAC Ashok Tajo, administrative officers from Itanagar and Naharlagun, Itanagar SDPO Kamdam Sikom, Authority engineers, officials of TK Engineering Consortium Pvt ltd among others were present in the meeting.
