ITANAGAR, Mar 27: In the wake of the ongoing lockdown, Additional District Magistrate Talo Potom on Friday visited various Nakas in the Capital region to take stock of the situation.

Speaking to reporters, ADM informed that as of now the situation is normal and most denizens are following the lockdown orders. “There are only a few who are on the roads and travelling, however, we have already instructed the security personnel to screen them and seek their reasons for travelling during the lockdown period. If the case is genuine then only we are allowing them to move forward,” he informed.
He also added that during many Nakas, police are registering the vehicle numbers so that the particular vehicle owner could not give further excuses for venturing out for the second time. However, all essential commodity carrying vehicles are being allowed to move freely, stated Potom.
When asked about the penalty provisions for violators, ADM clarified that as of now they have not imposed any harsh penalty, Capital DA cautions denizens not to venture out without genuine reasons
