NAHARLAGUN, Oct 31: The Arunachal Cancer Welfare Society (ACWS) led by chief patron Domin Loya and senior member Pradeep Kumar fed patients of Cancer Tertiary Centre of Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences here on Thursday.
ACWS team led by chairman Yomdi Sora and member-secretary Bomya Kamduk, true to commitment of feeding the patients once in a month, offered fruits to 57 patients. The fruits were offered by TCC in-charge-cum-head of radiation and oncology department Dr S Tsering, Indian Medical Association Arunachal state branch honourary general secretary Dr Jego Ori, member Dr Hage Soni on behalf of the ACWS.
Appreciating the humanitarian gesture, Dr Tsering said the APCWS members are well aware of the suffering of the patients and as Good Samaritans take many to Mumbai and Delhi for better treatment. The patients are own people and such care relieve their mental stress, he added.
