ITANAGAR, Sep 24: As part of Paryatan Parv, an awareness campaign cum training for women stake holders in rural tourism and homestay was organised on Sunday  at Namdapha Jungle Camp in Miao, Changlang district by Department of Tourism in collaboration with Arunachal Pradesh Tour Operator Association.
 
The local administration also supported the programme wherein ADC, Miao graced the occasion.
 
About 40 participants including house wives, homestay owners from the district and students participated in the day long training programme.
 
At Bomdila, cleanliness drive ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ was conducted on 21st September in collaboration with district administration, UD & Housing and PHED&WS West Kameng district.
 
Meanwhile, similar cleanliness drive was conducted recently at Buddha Park, Tawang by the tourism department with support from students of Monyul Niketan Vidhyapith, homestay operators, business community, ex panchayat leaders in collaboration with the district administration.
