ITANAGAR, Jun 20: Cadets Day, the fourth day of the on-going NCC Combined Annual Training Camp today turned out to be a mix of physical training, community development activities and basic military training.
The day started with foot drill and drill with arms for junior/senior division and junior/senior wing cadets respectively where they were taught the basic movements of drill by trained professional instructors of 1 AP BN. Manning lecture including basic map reading, judging distance, indication of landmark and field signals were imparted.The classes were followed by a lecture on oral hygiene by Captain Dipendra and a lecture-cum-demo on disaster relief by a team from 12th BN NDRF Doimukh.The day concluded with a solo dance competition where cadets of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam displayed their talents on local and western dance forms.
