YINGKIONG, Jun 25: In order to ensure that various projects currently implemented by the Border Roads Organisation such as upgradation of roads to double lane, construction of major bridges including the high-tech cantilever pre-stress bridge at Ditte-Dimme are completed within schedule, Chief Engineer Brahmank of BRO RK Dhiman,VSM accompanied by the Commander 761 BRTF undertook an inspection visit of the area as far as the last location beyond Tuting. The CE while appreciating the efforts of 761 BRTF to improve the road condition from Pangin to Gelling via Yingkiong, Moying and Tuting under the difficult and inhospitable terrains of Siang and Upper Siang districts, also motivated them and stressed on sticking to meticulous planning, strict quality assurance and optimum utilization of resources. He said that these are the fundamentals which must be adhered to even during rainy season to provide the best possible riding surface to users with minimum inconvenience due to road cutting for double lane widening works. It was also suggested to the team on ground to work in coordination with local people and involve them in road construction works. Construction venture of 55 M Bridge SIGIT at Bomdo also drew appreciation from the CE. DIPRO
